Octathorpe Technologies (SMC-Private) Limited operates Octavisualizer, a 3D product visualization platform for ecommerce stores. Our registered address is in Karachi, Pakistan. You can contact us at [email protected].

• From merchants — when you sign up for Octavisualizer we collect your name, email address, business name and website URL.
• From end customers — when a customer uses a configurator powered by Octavisualizer we collect the name, email address and order details they submit through the configurator form.
• Automatically — we collect standard web analytics data including page views, browser type and referring URLs via Google Analytics.

3. Payment information

We collect billing and transaction records required to manage client accounts, invoices and payment status. Octavisualizer does not currently collect or store card numbers, card security codes or online banking credentials through its website. Payment instructions are communicated directly to each client.

If we introduce an online payment processor, we will update this Privacy Policy with the processor’s identity and applicable privacy information before enabling online payments.

• Merchants — customer order details are shared with the merchant whose store the order was placed through
• Service providers — we use Mailgun for email delivery, MongoDB Atlas for database hosting, Heroku for infrastructure, and Cloudflare for CDN and security
• Legal requirements — where required by law or regulation

6. Data retention

We retain merchant account data for as long as your account is active. Order data is retained for a minimum of 5 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at [email protected].

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to operate the platform and analytics cookies via Google Analytics to understand how our website is used. You can disable analytics cookies in your browser settings.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure database hosting and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
